Catching up, thanks to a book chain

I recently participated in a book chain on social media that promised if followers liked my status, all they had to do was send one book to someone on my list, copy and paste my status, and in return they would receive potentially 36 books in the mail.

You see where this is going ...

I know it's a scam and I've done this before, but, hey, who doesn't like book mail?!

This year I only received two books via the modern chain mail but I'm very pleased with my results. The first book is one I surprisingly haven't read, considering how much I love memoirs: Anne Lamott's "Bird by Bird,"

The other book is Fredrik Backman's "My Grandmother Aske Me to Tell You She's Sorry," After recently finishing "A Man Named Ove," I was very excited to receive another one of Backman's stories.

What are you reading right now? What should I tackle during this short break between classes?
